About the Puppies
Enrichment & Socialization
Our puppies are hand raised in a loving home environment. They are held and played with every day! They enjoy socialization with children, adults, and other dogs. As part of our program, they begin potty training and crate training before going home. I utilize the following enrichment methods: socialized with children, socialized with adult dogs, socialized with elderly, household desensitization, and toys.
Health
We provide OFA certification on both parents for heart, hips, eyes, and patellas. We also furnish you with DNA testing results confirming your puppy's parents are clear of Dry-eye Curly-coat and Episodic Falling Syndrome. All puppies undergo deworming, are given their first vaccinations, and have an extensive health check by a certified veterinarian.
Contracts and Health Guarantees
All puppies come with a 2 year guarantee for your protection and mine! A contract protects both buyer and breeder and ensures a shared understanding of the terms and expectations of your puppy purchase. You will also receive an AKC litter certificate should you wish to register your puppy with the American Kennel Association.
About Cavaliers
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels were originally bred to be lap companions for the English Royalty and those that served them. The breed was named for King Charles II, who favored his Cavaliers so much he was accused of neglecting to rule his kingdom! Even today, there exists a decree allowing Cavalier King Charles Spaniels to attend Parliament. Cavaliers were known amongst court ladies as "Comforter Spaniels" and ultimately "Royal Spaniels".
Today, I'm happy to say, Cavaliers can be enjoyed by everyone! Their gentle temperaments make the perfect therapy dog, family playmate, or all around "love sponge" for singles and retirees. Your Cavalier will have one priority: YOU!

Empire Hills Cavaliers has recently relocated from Rochester, New York to Clinton, South Carolina. We offer top quality Cavaliers, beautiful and healthy! They are loving family pets and wonderful companions. As they grow we continue to bond with them, holding and playing with them, observing their personalities in order to perfectly match our puppy with its forever family.
I have always loved dogs! When our family adopted our first Cavalier, Sophia, we knew it was the breed for us! It has been the fulfillment of a dream to be able to own and breed these wonderful dogs.
It quickly became our goal to achieve the highest health standards for our dogs in order to contribute to this beautiful breed's overall beauty and well being.
My husband and I, as well as our extended family are so blessed to engage these precious puppies! They never lack for attention and are constantly monitored, held and loved.

I had such a great experience with Empire Hills Cavaliers! Teresa was so responsive and easy to work with. I've wanted a Cav for a long time but the timing never seemed to be right. I got Benny from Teresa 2 months ago and he is the LOVE OF MY LIFE. He is absolutely perfect. He is truly the best dog I have ever met in my whole life. He's so well-behaved, so smart, he doesn't bark, never uses his teeth on your skin, he's completely potty trained, SUPER CALM, loves to sleep i... I quickly realized it was because she was brought into this world with love and nurturing from Theresa. "Valentine" now "Stevie Valentine" (kept Valentine out of adoration for Theresa) is amazing. I could immediately tell that Teresa genuinely cared for her dogs and that her puppies were well cared for. That was even more evident when we met our puppy and Teresa in person. Our Cavalier puppy has been a wonderful addition to our family. He his healthy, happy and an absolute love! I believe his sweet temperament is a reflection of his time with Teresa at Empire Hills. We chose our sweet Luna girl and brought her home a couple of weeks later. Teresa gave me tons of info and recommendations on things to buy, potty training and nighttime sleeping. She truly set us up for success. Bringing Luna home was an easy transition for all of us and I know Teresa played a large role in that. Teresa genuinely loves her puppies and it shows. I definitely recommend Empire Hills Cavaliers! Our little Luna is just amazing. She is healthy, smart, sweet, playful, beautiful and an easy puppy. We are so grateful!
